Domain Flipping Complete training part 3

RESOURCE AND TOOLS REGISTER NEW DOMAINS

You will also need to enter in specific keywords, these are words that when contained within any of the expired domains, will be included in the results page after you have entered in your list and filtered through the results.

Creating a keyword swipe file is an ongoing job, and one that you should concentrate a lot of effort on, as the more prime keywords you enter into the software, the better your chances of finding true gems.

This comes down to the niche markets you cater to, and you should take a bit of time to start creating a list of keywords in a text file that you can copy and paste into the software. Apart from targeted keywords, you should also consider thinking outside the box a bit, by drumming up a list of memorable keywords that when added to a domain can be used for branding purposes.

I've sold countless domain names contrived of two keywords that really made no sense together but because of the sound, the appeal and the brandability factor, they were gobbled up quickly. Think about some of the Internet's most popular websites like Twitter.com, Facebook.com… or FeedBurner.com whose domains are off the beaten path but definitely memorable, which is one of the best important elements of a domain names profitability.

Take some time to get familiar with both the expired domain websites as well as the software available to help you manage the lists and weed through potential gems.

Once you have sorted through your lists, it's time to run the remaining domains through a bulk domain registration tool, to determine what domains are still available, as others downloading these lists may have scooped up a few already.

One great resource for checking large domain lists for availability is available at

www.Moniker.com

There you can enter in hundreds of domain names and allow the software to validate whether the domains are available or have been registered. With Moniker, you can check up to 500 domains at once, which will free up a lot of your time so you can continue searching for solid and available domain names.

You can visit Monikers bulk domain registration page at:

http://www.Moniker.com/domains/batch_reg.jsp

Once you have a solid listing of available domain names, it's time to follow the advice of many who have garnered wealth in the domain industry for many years through proper and careful selection.

Copy and paste a portion of your domains from your list into the text box. Remember, it can only check 500 at a time. Once you have entered them in, click the Search tab to send your query off. Wait a few minutes for the results…. (This can sometimes take a few minutes, so be patient).

When checking for domain names you can choose to have Moniker search for only dot com extensions which is what you should focus on primarily, when you are new to domain names. Dot com (.com) is the most popular extension and are often easier to flip it.

For other extensions, you will be required to do more in depth keyword and traffic research so let‟ stick to .com‟ for now. Once Moniker is done searching for the domain names you have entered in, you will see a results window where you can choose to register them with Moniker.

Note that you are not required to register them there, you can use whatever domain registration provider you wish, we are simply using Monikers bulk domain checker to sort through our lengthy list to determine availability of each domain name.

For me, I typically register a handful of domain names a day. I never go overboard unless I happen to stumble upon a great list or a good deal. When you are first starting out, you should set aside $50.00 and try to register 5 domain names to start.

Once you have begun to generate a profit and have a feel for how domain flipping works, you can begin to take a portion of your profits and invest it back into registering domain names. It will not take long before you have the business paying for itself entirely, including higher priced domain names that you will eventually register and flip.

You can also find tons of expired domain lists on domain forums and blogs. I have included quite a few within the Resources section at the end of this guide, so be sure to check those out in the end.

Whenever you download an expired list of domains, you should begin to weed through it taking notes of the ones that appeal to you either because they are short, memorable or based on keywords that you have found to be in demand.

The only problem with expired domain listings are that if you dont move quickly, a lot of the better domain names will be snatched up as these lists tend to get distributed all over the Internet rather quickly.

Another obstacle when browsing through expired domain lists is the fact that often times domain registrars such as GoDaddy.com, will snag any domains that have existing traffic.

This means that some of the domain names on the lists will not become available after they have expired, but instead, held by the domain registrars for a period of 5-7 days before potentially being dropped and made available again.

The best way to address this is to go over each lists (and as many different lists as you can), taking notes of any domain names that are appealing. Write them down in a text file and every day, take a few minutes to check whether the domains have become available to the public.

Before you do this however, you should know that there are many domain registrars online that will literally steal your domain research. What this means is that when you type the domain name into your browser to see if it‟s available, or if you visit a domain registrar‟s website and enter in a domain to see its status, these companies analyze this data and may snap up a domain you are considering.

This has been happening for many years and has recently caused quite a stir amongst the domain community when some well-known registrars were caught doing this.

To avoid domain snatching, I recommend using a trusted provider, such as

www.DomainTools.com

It has a strict policy against domain research stealing, so you can rest assured that if you use the service to check for domains, you will not be exposing your considerations to someone waiting to snatch it up.

www.Verisign.com

is also another trusted provider, and despite allegations regarding NameCheap from time to time, I have used them for many years without any problems in having my potential domains gobbled up or squatted on by their team. They are also my chosen registrar due to their lower prices and included WHO privacy protection guard that comes free with every domain registratration.

Domain Flipping Complete Training Part 2

SECRET DOMAIN SELECTION

When it comes to finding the best domain names, the easiest route to take is in exploring the expired domain listings that consist of domains that were previously registered but were not renewed. These kinds of domains are far more appealing to buyers due to the fact that they are considered 'aged', despite the fact that they have expired and are no longer active.

In most cases, if you register the domain shortly after it expires, you'll be able to maintain any existing traffic or page rank that the domain already has, and when it comes to domains, age, backlinks, traffic and page rank add incredible value to what the domain is worth within the marketplaces.

I use a few different tools and resources when locating expired domain names including: www.WSMDomains.com and also at http://www.RedHotDomainNames.com

With either of these resources, you are able to access and download complete listings of both expired domain names as well as domains that are about to expire so that you can receive an alert when the domain is dropped into the market and grab it before someone else does!

When it comes to securing aged domains from drop lists, you'll want to actively download lists of expired domain names every single day, and run them through a filtering script, such as available at:

www.alouwebdesign.ca and also available at: www.DomainPunch.com/products/domainfilter … and it‟s entirely free.

What this script will do is enable you to sort through the listings of domains by extension, as well as weed through domains that have numbers or hyphens. And since you'll be sifting through thousands of domain names, using a software utility that will sort the names for you, will save a lot of time.

These services are quite flexible in how you can set it up to filter through these lists for you, choosing between extensions, hypenated domains or even domains with specific keywords. They can also handle very large text based lists so even if you are interested in sorting through thousands of potential domains, the software can handle it!

Download and install the software and check it out so you're familiar with how it works and what features are available. You will find it will save you an incredible amount of time and make the job easier and more enjoyable, plus by using an automated system to browse domains, you'll give your self an edge over the competition, as you'll be able to find quality domains faster and easier – and with less work involved.

When it comes to purchasing domain names for resale, you want to stick with the top level extension, the dot com, and avoid any domains with numbers, or other characters. While other domains with alternative extensions can be valuable, you'll minimize your risks of a domain not selling if you stick to the top level extension when just starting out.

Once you've gained experience in the domain flipping arena, you can consider buying and selling other domain types.

You will also want to focus on searching for expired domain names that are as short as possible, and with utilities such as the one available at

 www.alouwebdesign.ca

you are able to search through your lists by setting a maximum and minimum length, meaning that you can sort through the domains so that only ones that are shorter will appear. Personally, I set the maximum length to 20 characters and of course, the minimum to zero, so that it includes the shortest domain names on my expired lists.

Domain Flipping Complete Training Part 1

Do you have $10.00 to spare?

If you do, you can jump into the world of domain (DN) flipping and start generating a profit on Day One. It‟s a no brainer technique that is being used by hundreds of domain flippers around the world who are pulling in tons of quick cash from simple domain flips.

And don‟t worry about finding brandable, in demand domain names. While we certainly will never likely find a one word domain name available anywhere online (for less than a couple of hundred thousand dollars), we can still make a decent, and steady income flipping average domain names found on expired lists, or available for immediate registration with your regular domain service provider!

The potential for ongoing profit is truly unlimited, and you can average anywhere from $50.00 in profit, to $200.00 or more. Best of all, there are ways to safeguard your domain investments so that you NEVER lose money on a domain sale or auction.

The very worst-case scenario is? You break even.

Buying and selling domain names can be an exceptionally lucrative venture to get into, however if you are starting off with very little cash flow, it's always best to purchase lower cost domains and generate small profits as you work your way up to larger flips. I have sold hundreds of domain names that I secured from marketplaces like Ebay and resold on marketplaces like NamePros.com, Flippa.com or DNForum.com.

While the marketplaces where domain sales are most lucrative are different from that of website flipping, the flip process remains the same with your focus being on locating and purchasing low cost domains and selling them for a higher price. One of the great aspects of domain flipping is that the work required is minimal. Unlike website flipping, you aren't forced into updating websites, tweak or split test sales copy or outsource tasks to freelancers. You can start, run and manage your domain flipping business entirely on your own with minimal start up costs involved.

To get started in the domain selling arena, all you need to do is find memorable, appealing domain names in niche markets and sell them to buyers, eager to create their own website because they see value in the domains you are selling. And don‟t be mistaken…. Even standard, a $10 domain registrations can be sold for up to 10x the initial cost if you are able to present the domain name to potential buyers in such a way that you give them ideas as to how to develop the domain and emphasize branding opportunities.

In fact, I’ve seen "aged’ domains that were registered for $9 that had absolutely no revenue or traffic sell for up to $2000 simply because the buyer had a great idea for the domain name and felt it would fit in with their existing brand Furthermore, the risks are quite low as are the investment costs, and once you have set up your system so that you are generating daily profits, it will require no more than one hour a day to keep the cash flow going. Many of my partners, students and friends are earning $500 - $2,500 per week from flipping low cost domain names, while others have gone to secure high value domain names that are generating them revenue even before they are resold.

It's not a difficult business to get into, if you follow my simple guide to buying and selling domain names.

To start, you will want to create accounts at the following domain 'hot spot', where you can both buy and sell domain names :

www.Flippa.com

http://Forums.DigitalPoint.com

http://www.eBay.com

http://www.DNForum.com

http://www.NamePros.com

So please go make your account at each website above…and then back  here for your next Post.

Depending on your niche market, you’ll want to make sure that your domain name encompasses primary keywords OR go generic if you plan to cover a variety of niches or sub niche markets.

For example, if you were focusing just on the weight loss market, you could set up a domain name such as

If you are interested in promoting a variety of topics based on a larger market (like ‘health topics’, ‘relationship topics’ or ‘business topics’), you’ll want to choose a domain name that encompasses all of your markets, such as:

You can register a domain name at

You’ll also want to set up a proper hosting account, so that you can develop an online presence of your own!

You can set up a hosting account to house your website at a variety of hosting providers, with my favorite being

It not only allows you the opportunity to set up automatic hosting accounts, but they are the one of the most affordable providers online.

You could also use your domain name to redirect leads to affiliate products while cloaking your links to prevent ‘lost profits’. You can do this without needing a hosting account by just logging into your domain registrar and redirecting the

URL to transfer traffic directly through your affiliate link.

Prospects who see your link won’t even realize it’s an affiliate one!

Best of success!

Generate Traffic From Backlinks

There’s a lot of buzz around building quality backlinks in order to boost search engine ranking, and generate organic, targeted traffic to your site
There’s a good reason for this;
backlinks count as “votes” for your website and
the more you have of them, the greater your exposure will be within the major search engines including

Backlinks identify the value of your website, and the source as well as quantity of backlinks signify to the search engines, just how relevant your website is.
This means that it’s important to focus your back-link building efforts, on both obtaining a high number of backlinks as well as quality backlinks that link to your site from established, relevant websites and blogs.
There are a number of different ways to build an effective backlink campaign
including generating backlinks from authority blogs, communities & forums!
When it comes to generating back-links from authority blogs you simply spend time posting comments within open threads, using anchor text (when possible) to link back to your website using relevant keywords.
While not all blogs provide “do follow” links, (meaning that the link will count within the search engines), it’s relatively easy to locate blogs that offer link juice.
One of the easiest ways of finding relevant ‘do follow’ blogs is by downloading the free Firefox plugin, available at:

In addition, you can use the free Comment Hut software to pinpoint blogs based on keyword and customized search terms to quickly locate relevant blogs in your niche market (all of which offer do follow back-links)

You want to make sure that you post quality comments, so that the blog administrator retains your backlinks. You also want to represent yourself as a credible source for quality information within your niche market.

How To Create One Hour Cash Part 3

Article Marketing Campaigns

There are a few important ingredients to creating high performance Article Marketing campaigns that maximize the overall effectiveness of your marketing efforts, while ensuring that you receive the most exposure possible from each article that you submit into the online directories.

First, writing an article on just any topic isn’t going to yield the results you’re looking for, if you haven’t first conducted keyword research to identify what your target audience is actively looking for, and the exact keywords and phrases they are using to be able to locate content on your topic.

This is fundamentally one of most critical elements of a successful article marketing campaign.
The closer you are able to target your prospective customer base with well written articles that incorporate primary keywords, the more traffic and exposure you will be able to generate.
Think about the possibilities if you carefully evaluated a niche market, creating keyword swipe files of highly relevant terms and phrases and incorporated them into your content.
Not only will this help you position yourself within the search engines, but your visitors and readers will be exceptionally targeted!
Each article should be between 300 and 600 words in length and provide useful information that your target audience would find appealing.

The greater the number of articles in circulation, the more exposure you will receive, however you always want to focus on producing high quality content, rather than just on the quantity that is being distributed between these networks.

Apart from directly benefiting from the exposure received by having your articles showcased within popular article directories such as

you will also benefit from the frequency in which
search engines crawl article directories due to new content being posted each day.

This allows you to generate exceptional back links from these article directories based on the number of articles featured that contain links to your website within the Author’s Resource box.

There is also yet another reason why article marketing is such a lucrative method of generating traffic to your website.

Since articles are available for re-print, where webmasters can use your content on their websites and communities, (as long as the Author’s resource box is left intact), you will also be able to build additional back links from the websites that feature your content throughout their network.
Here are the top article directories that you should focus on submitting content to:

The most important thing to remember is that you need to create a compelling Author’s Resource box as this is the area where you are able to include a link to your website and direct readers to explore your own personal site.
Since the space allocated is quite limited, you need to focus on using a strong call to action that prompts the reader to click your link and visit your website.

The best way to go about creating your Author’s Resource box is to think of it as a short commercial, where you are given a very limited time to explain the benefits and highlight the most important features of your product or service.
In addition, if you offer a freebie or giveaway within your Resource Box, rather than a direct pitch (such as directing your reader to download a free report or ebook by visiting your squeeze page), you will instantly maximize your articles performance in terms of driving targeted traffic to your
websites, as well as in building relevant mailing lists of potential buyers.
Here are a few things I successfully featured within my article resource boxes to generate traffic and build a list of responsive buyers:
Free Reports

Free Ebooks

Free Scripts

Free Content (PLR, MRR)

How To Generate One Hour Instant Cash Part 2

Launching Your Campaigns

Before you can start making money with instant affiliate offers, you need to be able to drive targeted traffic through your affiliate links. There are many ways to do this, and this section focuses on FREE techniques, so that you are MAKING money – not spending it!

To start, you will want to develop enough content to power up a variety of promotional campaigns. Content is the #1 most important component of a successful affiliate campaign, because it warms up readers and pre-sells the products you are promoting.

The more content you have, the better, but you’ll be able to start generating traffic through your affiliate links with only 10-15 short and targeted articles.

The key to creating powerful article content is to keep it focused and relevant.

You want the article to provide important information about the topic you are focusing on, while leaving the reader hungry for more.

Make sure that you weave targeted keywords throughout your content, including within the title of your article itself and in the first few paragraphs of your article.

That way, you are not only able to capture attention from targeted leads but you’ll also be able to make sure that your content is quickly indexed and ranked within the search engines based on your primary keywords.

Here are the easiest ways to generate fast traffic through your affiliate links and skyrocket your affiliate income!

Keyword Research

The key to most of these traffic methods is proper keyword research. If you don’t take the time to research your keywords carefully, you aren’t going to have a very good chance to get a level of traffic that will help your site make good money.

Fortunately, keyword research is a relatively simple process. If you know what you’re doing, you can research plenty of good keywords for your niche in just a few minutes.

When it comes to keywords, there are head keywords and what are referred to as “long tail keyword phrases”.

Head keyword terms are typically shorter phrases such as “weight loss”, while tail keywords consist of multiple keywords that describe a market or niche, such as “weight loss strategies for seniors”.

For the most part, head keywords are always targeted by a greater number of competition as they are a short-form description of a market, and long tail keyword phrases will generate less traffic, but are much easier to dominate within
the search engines.

Savvy marketers focus on long tail keywords and gauge their exposure by a COLLECTIVE count of all traffic generated from multiple long-tail keyword based campaigns.

You will find it much easier to position yourself in the top search engine results if you primarily focus on injecting long tail keywords into your traffic generation strategies.

Consider the fact that it could take you months (and serious cash) to rank for the term “weight loss”, however if you set up a dozen different campaigns targeting relevant, long tail keywords including “weight loss after pregnancy”, “how to lose
weight quickly”, or “safe and easy methods of losing weight”, you would generate steady traffic from all campaigns (although lower than a single main keyword),
collectively giving you MORE exposure than a competitive keyword that you are consistently struggling to rank for much less maintain your position.
You can quickly conduct keyword research for you rniche market just by using free online services, including
Google's Keyword Utility
For the most part, I use the Google keyword tool, simply because it’s very fast and easy to use and is absolutely free. The information is also pulled directly from Google’s database providing you with a more accurate overview of specific
keywords than many of the other keyword tools found online.
Visit Google Keyword Suggestion Tool:
In order to conduct keyword research, you have to begin by entering in what is referred to as a “seed” keyword, basically a starting point to your keyword research.

The seed keyword is a short term describing your market, niche or potential products you are considering promoting.
For example, if you were interested in promoting the product “Acne Free In 3 Days”, you could enter the seed keyword as “Acne Free In 3 Days”, or if evaluating the acne market altogether, begin by entering in “acne”.
Next, click “Get keyword ideas”.

On the next page, you will see the results of your search.

NOTE: Your results won’t be sorted by traffic, so you need to click “Global Monthly Search Volume” at the top of the results. This will sort the results by traffic volume from highest to lowest.

The first column provides you with alternative keyword phrases that you could use within your content as well as with search engine optimization or promoting your product within PPC marketplaces.
The second column indicates the level of competition, and in our example above, nearly all of the featured keyword phrases are being heavily targeted by competitors.
The third column indicates the estimated number of searches for each particular keyword, based on monthly volume.
You want to look for keyword phrases that receive at least 300 searches per month according to the tool. Each phrase could receive a lot more or a lot less than the tool shows, so keep that in mind.
You also need to check to be sure the phrases you’re targeting don’t have so much competition that they would be extremely difficult to rank for.
You then want to turn to Google’s main search engine at

to complete your keyword research.
You begin by entering in each keyword phrase, directly into the search engine, wrapping your entire phrase in quotes, like this:

“golf swing techniques”
The reason it’s so important to contain your search query in quotes is due to keyword proximity, relevancy and to make sure you are given an accurate idea as to the overall competition of the keyword.
Google and other search engines give more weight to sites with an exact phrase quote than when the words aren’t in such close proximity, so by wrapping your text in quotations (example “dog training tips”), only pages that feature your entire keyword phrase will appear within the search results window.
What I want to find out is this:
How many people are using this
exact phrase on their sites?
So I simply go to Google and enter the phrase in quotes, like this:
“golf swing tips”
Then I see how many results I find:

Ideally, I want this number to be as low as possible, preferably under 150,000.
The phrase “golf swing tips” currently has about 169,000 results in Google, so it’s fairly competitive.
What you really want to look for is a good balance.

The ideal numbers are 300 or more monthly searches and 150,000 or fewer
competing pages, but you have to look at the overall ratio as well.

A phrase with 300 monthly searches and 75,000 competing pages isn’t as good as a phrase with 25,000 monthly searches and 150,000 competing pages. The ratio is important.

Of course, the ratio isn’t going to matter much if the phrase has so muchcompetition that it would be practically impossible to rank for it.

If you find a phrase with 1,500,000 searches per month and 3,000,000 competing pages, it would have a great ratio. Unfortunately, ranking number one for a phrase with three million competing pages would prove extremely difficult.

Always go after the keywords that have little competition and a good balance between traffic and competition first, then you can go after the more competitive phrases later.
